In preparation for April Fools’ Day, we give you an electronics tech prank that you can make to pull a practical joke on your friends, classmates, and coworkers. It uses an Arduino Pro Micro and a custom USB connector breakout board to act as a USB mouse. Once every few seconds, the mouse pointer will jump, move, or jitter randomly, which is sure to annoy your target to no end. We even made a 3D printed case to help conceal the hardware prank among other cables commonly found on the back of desktop computers.
