This is a first-timers guide to hooking up programmable LEDs, aka NeoPixels. This tutorial is aimed at cosplay or wearable applications. Add lights to your costume like a pro! You’ll be doing DIY electronics projects in no time.
I’m using a Circuit Playground Express and addressable LED strips of varying types – choose the one that’s best for your costume or project, and hook it up with bolts, no soldering required. I’ll tell you what to get, where to get it, and how to use it.
