Project Showcase: Nixie Tube Clock
My journey into building something that I am constantly nervous will eventually blow up.
I’ve always liked the look of a Nixie Tube Clock. They are Cold War Era clocks that are now seen as steampunk with metal coils in glass casings. I decided I wanted to build one, but the whole process was a lot harder than I anticipated.
With some help from plenty of people at SparkFun who actually know how to work with electronics and lots of moral support from my puppy Nel, it sorta works.
